Special Project Services
Springboard Schools supports customized work in school districts that is consistent with Springboard Schools’s vision, mission, core values, and essentials. If a district has a particular need, such as the training of a particular group of personnel, Springboard Schools’s coaching support team will be able to provide these services as long as the work in some form involves assessment of best practices, the development of specific academic growth targets that focus on achievement gap issues, serious concern about issues related to equity, and a commitment to use inquiry at whatever level appropriate to use data to guide improvement efforts.
Springboard Schools’s Best Practice Framework serves as a template to guide the range of different projects that could involve joint district-Springboard Schools work. Always keeping the central focus on raising achievement and closing the achievement gap by improving the quality of teaching and learning, Members of Springboard Schools’ coaching team have experience in the areas identified in that framework and are prepared to work with districts and schools in any of the nine areas in the Best Practices Framework:
- Aligned Curriculum and Measurable Goals
- Instructional Programs, Practices and Administrative Support
- Monitoring Performance
- Professional Development
- Recognition and Intervention
- Leadership Development and Staff Selection
- Resource Alignment
- Core Beliefs, Values and Norms about Teaching and Learning (Culture)
- Local Influences, Governance and Partnerships
