I am almost defiantly going to Kilgraston boarding school for 4th year (i'm in 3rd year now) and i've read loads of stories about boarding school but i have no idea what's going to be like bcoz everyone says it's either a great experience and it's great living with friends or they say it was horrible and they got bullied and it was the worse time of their lives, so what will it be like?
I have visited the school before and it looks really good and the girls look nice and it doesn't look that strict, i've looked at what people wrote about it on bebo, face book, etc and they all said that they love Kilgraston, so i'm guessing that i will like it but i don't know.
My uncle went to boarding school and he hated it so are the people who wrote that they hate it people that went their ages and ages ago and the people who wrote that they love it people who went there recently and boarding school is alot better than it was ages ago and i will like it?
So can someone tell me what boarding shool is like nowadays, preferable girls only bcoz Kilgraston is an all girls boarding school ( ;
And will there be bullies there? My family said that there won't be bcoz this is like a really good expensive school and they wouldn't allow trouble makers to stay, are my family right?

Personally I did not go to boarding school but I wish I did, for the structure in which it give. They give you a schedule which you have to follow and I it could remember to do that now I be in a lot better place.
My best friend went to boarding school the last year of high school and she hated it. One, because she didn’t know anybody and because she is to passive and lets people talk about her behind her back.
So, I think you should make the best of it, try to make friends and don’t let people spread rumors.
i weouldnt really. i would aways wanna be with boys nad girls but i have friends who to girls only and they love it so its not a big deal up to you :p
Sorry I never been to boarding school but I can tell you that your family is wrong when they say it’s too expensive of a school for trouble makers. ALL school will have bullies! It just depends if they choose to pick on you or not and if they get caught. Best of luck!
I’m sure it’ll be fine, you’re just getting worried for no reason, everything happens for a reason. at least now you will concentrate on your education rather than worrying about the minor things in life.
and the more expensive, the bigger the bitches, maybe that’s not the case for this particular school but I have 2 friends that are from wealthy families, one complains about the girls in her school “their too bitchy and are two-faced, they’re vain because they think they have money” ect ect, and the other loves her friends and loves the atmosphere and she’s always happy,
i think it all just depends on your perspective towards the school and what kind of person you are, but make sure you make good and true friends, don’t try and mix in the wrong crowd and ALWAYS remember to be yourself but make an effort too make friends with everyone and use some charm, remember to try and be yourself and be as friendly as possible, if you don’t then that’s when things start go terribly wrong.

i’m a day/boarder at Clifton College in bristol ( i board weekly and go home at weekends) and i’m in 4th form now…
there is NO trouble with bullying in my school, apart from the occasional ‘swirly’ in the boys houses, but in boarding schools, the girls tend to stick up for eachother…
it depends if you’re a confident person, if you are, you’ll get on well there, but if you’re not, you’ll hate it…
if there are no boys, the girls tend to be a little bitchier, but so long as you’re a strong character you’ll do fine!!
