Boarding schools are school where some or all boys and girls study and live during the school year. The word 'boarding' is used in the sense of "room and board," lodging and meals. Some boarding schools are college prep also have day students who attend the institution by day and return off-campus to their families in the evenings.
I'm thinking of sinding my daughter to baording school next year. Does anyone have a child attending boarding school? What issues are important besides the basic ones? How much is tuition? Have you received any loans or grants?
